Are you looking for a longer walk while in the area? The nice people at AONB worked with local schools to produce a series of 52 “Welly walks”. Here’s a circular one for Sandhurst. It’s 3.5miles/5.2k taking in the Church and the village. Stop at the Sandhurst Tea Rooms or The Swan if you have time.
Into Geocaching? There are several caches within a mile or so of the Church, including two Church Micros. If you’re heading towards Bodiam, there’s another half dozen including a Church Micro, and a Side Tracked series cache.
